Question

Rock'n and rolling with my new geeklog install ... works like a champ except for the logo.png file not launching in the upper left of the professional theme. Not to fret though cause I'm out to cause additional mayheme for myself by adding the theme white pointer.

Despite what the readme file says:

"ORIGINAL TEXT:
Install is a no brainer but here it is in explanation.
Unzip this into your layout directory. Good luck Smile"

I am obviously the "no brain"er they are speaking of ... cause it didn't work. I even attempted to copy the theme into its own directory as a subdirectory of /public_html/layout/ ... and even went as far as to copy over all the files from the professional folder into it and then renamed the folders ... the orginal /public_html/layout/white_pointer became /public_html/layout/professional (and likewise I renamed the /public_html/layout/professional as /public_html/layout/professionalBackup)

nodda ... the most I can get out of all this is a page that appears as if a css file were screwed up ... none of the template settings took at all ...

Anyone willing to give this newbie explicit instructions on how to install themes? Thanks in advance.

oprogue.

Installing a theme is a no-brainer usually. You only have to make sure the theme is compatible with the Geeklog version your using.

How do I change the default theme? has some more information.

bye, Dirk

P.S. Yes, I realise the follow-up thread is here. Just didn't want this topic hanging around without a response ...
