problems with user logins

a lot of users on my site register but they never log in so when i send the newsletter to all the users the one that have never logged in do not get the emails even that i have their email

can that be solved somehow

Well, if the users never logged in, chances are they never got the email with their login information, e.g. because they mistyped their email address of because their spam filter ate the email. So chances of contacting those people are slim, I'd say ...

yes i remember that one user told me that his mail was considered spam

but why is that happening????

Can i add some text on the page where userds login and in which file is that

will that work, and what must they be carefull of

because i have 30 % users that never logged in so that is a lot

There is no simple answer. Some ISPs seem to have overly strict spam filters (from what I heard, AOL may be one such ISP, for example).

Sometimes it helps to configure Geeklog to send emails via SMTP (instead of the default, which is using the PHP 'mail' function).

And sometimes people just mistype their own email address. Or their account is over quota. Or ...
