problem with sending newsletter to users

when i want to send the newsletter to all registered users i chose the logged in group and it send the mail only to 23 users but i have 31 registered
is there a way to send to all 31 not just 23 because they all left me the emails but some of them never logged in and i do not know why
appreciate any help

Users have an option in their preferences where they can choose not to receive emails from the Admin. You can override that with the "ignore usersettings" option when you use the Mail Users function.

ok i tried again and i overrode the user settings this time
i got this as a result
Successfully sent 51 messages and unsuccessfully sent 5 messages. If you need them, the details of each message attempts is below. Otherwise you can Send another message or you can go back to the administration page.
Failures
so that is 56 users
but i can see 64 users registered
where are the 8 missing ones

Yep I noticed this too.
Dirk any chance you could add a group for 'never logged in' users, alot of these on our site or old users of phpbb forum before we migrated to geeklog and I'd like to send our newsletter to them to get them back on.
