Geeklog Forums

I have been searching for this link for the forums plugin... basically some but not all of the links in the forum plugin go to nowhere in my forum... normally this would be a simple changing of the URL's but for some unknown reason I can't seem to find the urls in question... but the urls arn't wrong exactly i think the $_CONF globals at the beginnings of the urls are missing or not being called for some unknown reason... it sends me to http://geeklog_folder/admin/plugins/forum/boards.php?mode=add&type=category
managing to miss my site completely... it does the same thing with the forum block which calls phpblock_forum_newposts and that sends me to http://geeklog_folder/index.php?mode=forumblock&order=new

any help would be appreciated thanks
