.thtml editor?

confused
For the love of god praying it will work can some one please tell me how i can edit the .thtml files under the professional theme folder...

I am using dreamweaver 8 and it does not open them.

what I use to do in editing .thtml files was to copy the .thtml file and rename the copy file to .html. This will allow you to edit in dreamweaver. But remember after you edit rename it back to .thtml.

Make sure to switch off any "intelligent" options that your HTML editor has. The .thtml files often contain partial HTML (e.g. tags are opened in header.thtml that are only closed in footer.thtml) and some editors think it's a good idea to add those "missing" tags, screwing everything up.

A plain text editor works best, IMO.

I use Notepad++ It's free and works great.
