Hey guys,

My geeklog page is not allowing me to login to the Command and Control panel. I know my login name and passwords are correct. When I hit the login button, though, it either reloads the login or redirects me to the index.html. In other words, nothing happens.

Sometimes, I get to see the Command panel, but when I click on any of the panel options, I get redirected to the login page again. Has anyone encountered login problems like this? I am desperate to find out what the heck is going on. Any ideas?

Are you trying to log in via admin/moderation.php? Which Geeklog version?

What happens when you log in using the normal login form or users.php?

When I try from user.php, it redirects me to index.php. There is no indication that it logs me in.

OK. It did log me in after the third try, and I went on to access the Command and Control panel. I logged off and tried to login from moderation.php and it gave the same error. It's strange that moderation.php is giving this problem. All along, I had used that page to log in and encountered no problems until today.

Prior to 1.4.0, login in via moderation.php may not have worked due to one of those "headers already sent ..." messages. In 1.4.0, it should work just fine, though.

Also make sure your browser isn't caching pages. I fell for that when using Opera several times, for example.

I cleared the cache and tried again to login from moderation.php, but it didn't work. I'll try again later on, but at this point I don't need to use that page anyway. So it's all good. Thanks, dude.
