I never before insttaled plugins and I need some help.I downloaded "mediagallery 1.2.6-1.3.11" and "forum",I unzipped them..then,with FTP server I transfered this folders to my "plugins" folder from my website.I can see in FTP server that transfer was succesfull,but when I go on my website and in my admin menu panel when I go in "plugins" ,still on the plugins list I can't see "mediagallery" and "forum".What is wrong and what I suposed to do?

Well, typically a plugin's files will have to be copied into three separated directories. And I would be surprised if that wasn't mentioned in their installation instructions.

Dirk's answer hits the mark perfectly, once the files have been uploaded, you will need to copy a few files into your public_html directory before the plugins will work.

For step-by-step instructions on installing Media Gallery, see the Online Documentation here. Media Gallery follows the standard Geeklog plugin installation that is outlined in the link Dirk provided.

For the forum plugin, I believe there are installation instructions included in the archive you downloaded. It follows the standard Geeklog plugin install as well, but there are a couple of extra steps you will need to perform before it will all work. See the included README file and it should lead you in the right direction.
