Hello all,
Does anyone have any more detailed instructions for installing the forum plugin? I've been through the graphical instructions, and the document included with the forum itself, and the end result is both:
1) Forum is not showing up as a plugin
2) I'm not sure if I've copied the files to the correct locations.
The areas that are esspecially foggy are 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5.
Thank you, everyone!
Pat

Gosh... I've spent 7 hours trying to get "Forum" to appear on my geeklog's site list of plugins.
I just went through the entire install process again, and the only part I'm unsure about it the editing of the style.css. I just copied ALL of the text from within the additional-forum.css and pasted it after the last line of the style.css.......
Someone, PLEASE tell me if you've ever ran into this issue. I searched the forums, but couldn't find anything.
Thanks!
Pat

YEEEEEEEES!
I got it!
If anyone else has this issue....I'm going to post the solution. How dumb of me. I feel like I just shot my hand while trying to disassemble my GLOCK.
Anyway, The directions stated to uncompress the forum folder DIRECTLY in the GeeklogPlugin directory.
Well, that's what you have to do.
I hate the stupid smileys, but I guess this one is appropriate.
Later all.
