Gmail works, but Hotmail doesn't

I'm running Geeklog 1.4.0sr3 and have batch added some users (all of which are accounts I have). The gmail accounts got the welcome to geeklog message, but the hotmail accounts didn't. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Some ISPs tend to treat the confirmation emails as spam, for whatever reason. Sometimes it helps to switch to SMTP for sending emails from Geeklog.
