Using formmail

Hey guys,

So here is the deal. My domain provider offers a formmail script, but it has an internal safeguard and won't permit access to itself from anywhere except the index.php.

I corresponded with the techies there and they asked me where the reference to the formmail is located. I said, well, it's there on the home page, but then it occurred to me that the reference is on a static page, which occupies the central portion of the top of the home page.

It's been bugging me now. Where should I direct the techies of my domain provider so they can enable the formmail script?

Word for word, here is what they want from me: Please indicate where on that page or what file was edited to access formmail.

THANKS for all your help!!!

So you're using a static page as a center block and have the link to the formmail script in that static page? In that case, the referrer would still be index.php.

Only if you call up that static page on its own, i.e. .../staticpages/index.php/whatever, would it have a different referrer, but that's probably not how people would use it anyway.

bye, Dirk
