that's right! the lower 300 lines (or so) of my config.php file loads as plain text in my browser while attempting to upgrade from 1.3.11 to 1.4sr4.

as soon as I click on next from step 1, the plain text loads and below that is the proper step 2 stuff. I thought I could do step 2 anyway so clicking on next just loaded the plain text again and nothing else.

any ideas?

forget, I got it under control.. corrupted my own files
