why it is installed in ./ directory

I used my hosting provider automatik instalation and it geeklog is istalled in such directory mydomain.com/./ instead of just mydomain.com/ ? So I can access geeklog side on mydomain.com/.//index.php
how I can fix it? Question

That looks odd ... Check $_CONF['site_url'] in your config.php.
