Who's Online shows incorrect number of Guest Users

I recently upgraded to GeekLog 1.4.0 sr3, and I notice now that the Who's Online block consistently shows one more Guest User online than there really is.

For instance, if I block access to the web log so that only I have access, restart apache, and view the site, it shows TWO guest users logged in! If I then log into geeklog, Who's Online lists my logged in user name and ONE Guest User.

Clearing the gl_sessions table does not fix the problem!

How can I fix this?

I have a similar problem where the site seems to show 1 more guest user than there is. Is there a fix for this?

I wish - nobody ever answered, so I just deal with it. Frown I ended up just hiding the count so I don't have to see it anymore.

I have the same thing even today with GL 1.4.1. I cleared the gl_sessions and the ghost Guest entry was back in a matter of seconds. I did an nslookup on the ip address and it comes back as: crawl-66-249-70-68.googlebot.com, so I guess it's just a web crawler that connects. Why it stays there I have no idea.
