I was just curious if you guys have planned on releasing an update to 1.4.0sr5-1 within the next month or so.

Well, I think we had enough updates to 1.4.0 recently

Next stop: Geeklog 1.4.1 (no due date, though).

I would hope so. But keep in mind that we will come out with a beta version first, followed by a release candidate or two, so it's probably at least 6 weeks from now until the final version.
