Question about config.php placement

OK, my brother installed Geeklog for me while I was sick. He left the set up where the config file is in the webroot with the GL files one directory past that (like in the tar). Now that the site is up and running, is it possible to move the config out of the public area to make it safer? Is there a file I should edit besides config.php for the GL system to see it where it now is or is it that once it's installed that's it?
Thanks a lot, it'd be a big help!

As explained in the installation instructions, Geeklog consist pretty much of two parts that you can move around as you see fit. You will only have to adjust the paths in config.php and in lib-common.php accordingly. And, yes, you can do that after the initial install.
