Error message - Help

I keep getting this error message:

pear_error: message="unable to set sender to [@]" code=0 mode=return level=notice prefix="" info=""
 


I've probably done something stupid, but I have no idea where to look. It appears to be occurring when new people register, since I've had a lot of people register but never log in.

Can anyone give me a clue as to where this error comes from, and maybe how to fix it?

Funnily enough, a Google search for that error message brings you right back to this thread. See if anything in there helps you.

Has the mailer been updated since that thread?

We've since updated both the included PEAR::Mail classes and the code to format email addresses in Geeklog.
