How do i make the image link to the story? such that when i click on the image it links me to the story it is on.

What are you trying to accomplish? An image by itself can't link to anything ...

Am trying to make story images i upload link to the story they are on such that when someone clicks on the image on the homepage they are linked to the whole story or read more. The image must link to the "read more" link.

Where do i add that? i want it such that when am administering all the articles images they all automatically link to the story they are own...i mean the first image only.

Have tried that code in my story Dirk, its not working properly, you see i want it to automatically link all my stories to [image1] when am administering them so i wont have to add the code all the time.

You can do what you want if you modify the function STORY_replace_images in the file //path_to_geeklog/system/lib-story.php Sorry I don't have the time to tell you exactly what needs to be done though.

I think jmucchiello might have the answe am looking for...someone please help me, I need to know what exactly needs to be done to make my story images link to the story they are on in file //path_to_geeklog/system/lib-story.php

Am still trying to make images link to the stories they are on, how do i make [Image1] link to the article. Have tried what Dirk and the other gentleman suggested but am still having problems.

It would help if you could be more specific ...

You could use Media Gallery, it has a plugin which takes all images in stories and makes them part of the gallery, thereby linking images to gallery to story... I think, not used it myself...
