I will like to shift from a nuke cms to GL.
I will be grateful if some user lets me know how I can do the following :
1) Add individual journal or blog capacity to each user - the old journal plugin seems not to work with thelatest release
2) How I can limit the number of names shown on the Online block to 5 or 10 as some concurrent 50 or 60 users will break the design and make a too long scroll
3) Can users create Groups with its own messageboard like they can do in Drupal ( free ) or
phpfox ( paid )
4) How can users edit comment like they can do in the forum
5) Can users have individual guestbook or Scrap book ( eg. Orkut )
Will it be tool long for version 2 to come out so that its not a re-do again very soon after installingg the current one ?

1) The Journal plugin should still work, but it requires register_globals to be "on". And the comments won't work due to an API change in 1.4.0.
2) You'll have to add a LIMIT clause to the SQL in function phpblock_whosonline in lib-common.php
4) Comments are not editable, not even by the Admin.
3 + 5) I don't know these systems so can't comment.
bye, Dirk

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply.
So, how to make the Comments work for Journal apart from the fact 'You cant make them work'
And, what happens when a comment needs to be edited ??
