Hi, I am learning with this I have done this before and now i cannot seem to get the geeklog-1.4.0sr5-1.tar.tar to extract in my server and it does support it do i have the wrong file when i go to extract a page comes up blank, I have had the older version on system 1.4 from cpanel so no problems.
So how do i get the files extracted to even get to start upgrade, what I have understood from instalation doc was make another directory with same name upload file i did that with ftp, now thats where it will not let me do anything else, please can someone spread some light on this asap
Thx Andy

You should have a file ending in .tar.gz - but sometimes that seems to come out wrong when downloading with some browsers. Try renaming the file or downloading it again using some other browser / application.

Whatever it is you're using to unpack the tarball should have an option to unpack into directories. If it doesn't or you can't find it, try some other application.

bye, Dirk
