portal block

I created a portal block for a sites feed and it retrieved the information fine, but I created another portal block for another site and after trying to save it my site won't load. It is loading but never finishes. Is it because of the portal block.
The first block that worked was to a url that ended in ...feed/
but the second one ended in ...rss.php
Is is because a saved it to the rss.php file?

I sent an email to you with the links, but maybe others know too.
Is there a file in the directories that I can open and delete the code associated with the portal block that I created?
Thanks

I didn't get any email from you, sorry.
And again: There's no need to go into the database and delete blocks there. We have a perfectly fine admin screen for that purpose - why don't you use that?
Please don't mess with the database unless you know what you're doing. It happens to work for blocks, but you could wreak havoc when you try that for something else ...
bye, Dirk

Is there any way to get a portal block to come up where the stories do?
In the center of the browser.
I would like to be able to create my own and have the automatic feeds posted in that same area.
Can I?

There's some solution involving the use of static pages as center blocks. Never tried it myself, though.

do you know of anywhere that could help me create a portal block on the static page as a center block at the top of the page?
I've created a static page as a centerblock with a link to a forum in it, but I would like it to be a portal block.
