Since upgrading to 1.4, my advanced searches and show all stories by writer now fails with a SQL error. The error.log reports the following:
Sat 02 Sep 2006 14:40:07 EDT - inmemoriam Search: SELECT DISTINCT aid, mid, title, caption, owner_id, username FROM gl_inm_media, gl_users WHERE (status='0' AND uid=owner_id) AND (keywords like '%d'breeon%' OR title like '%d'breeon%' OR caption like '%d'breeon%' OR username like '%d'breeon%') ORDER BY date DESC
Sat 02 Sep 2006 14:40:07 EDT - 1052: Column: 'status' in where clause is ambiguous. SQL in question: SELECT DISTINCT aid, mid, title, caption, owner_id, username FROM gl_inm_media, gl_users WHERE (status='0' AND uid=owner_id) AND (keywords like '%d'breeon%' OR title like '%d'breeon%' OR caption like '%d'breeon%' OR username like '%d'breeon%') ORDER BY date DESC
The keywords change, obviously, but the error is identical. Suggestions?

The errors seem to be caused by the Inmemoriam plugin, not by Geeklog itself.
Did you upgrade to MySQL 5 recently? There were some changes in MySQL 5 that require changes in SQL clauses, and it looks like Inmemoriam (or at least the version you're using) hasn't been updated accordingly yet.
bye, Dirk

We did run some server upgrades recently, I'll check that out. Thanks Dirk!
