I don't get this. I tried downloading and editing libcommon and now config.php but when I save and upload, I can't get the site to load. I just see txt errors that certain files don't exist. The file size shrinks a few kb too so it might be an unformatting during the save. But I used notepad/wordpad fine on the stylesheet.

Up/downloading in text mode vs. binary mode, I would assume.

I figured but I had FTP set to auto. It usually works fine. I set it to binary for libcommon..it still has errors.

Geeklog's files ship with only linefeeds (LF) while at least for notepad you will have to have carriage return + linefeed (CR + LF) to be able to edit them. So I suppose some conversion has taken place there somewhere, which would explain the difference in size.

Still doesn't explain the errors. Try comparing your lib-common.php against the unmodified original. If it finds that they differ in more than the one line, then you have a problem in your tool chain somewhere ...

bye, Dirk
