I must admit geeklog is the best CMS there is. I recently upgraded my site to the new 1.4.1b bu am noticing the following problems.

Firstly when i activate the spamx when my users try to post anything they get the message page cannot be found, secondly if i try i get the following error

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: slvbase in /home/mysite/public_html/news/plugins/spamx/SLV.Examine.class.php on line 53

Lastly when my users post their comments their Full names appear instead of the username, may you please help me deal with this.

I have disabled SpamX and everyone can post without any problems but i also now start getting a lot of spam.

Please help me

Make sure you have the SLVbase.class.php file in your spamx directory.

Have uploaded the file Dirk, am not getting the error anymore but now when i try to login or post a comment i get page cannot be found like i have been diconnected from the internet, i mean the message you get when you try to access the internet and you are not connected to the internet.

Check the URL your browser displays when that happens. Is it the correct URL to your site?

The URL is correct to mysite. I desperately need some help, i have disabled spmax and my site is being attacked like never before, am recieving a lot of spam comments, more than 20 a day from 1 or 2 months before i upgraded to 1.4.1b

Well, it's impossible to tell without any further information. I'd still say it's something in your configuration ...

Does it only happen with the login and comment post? A URL may also help ...
