I've read everything (it seems) in the forums and docs, but I still can't figure out why there is no AM or PM designation in the dates. I've tried altering the config.php file to specify that AM/PM should be used....nothing. I'm at a loss right now and my clients definitely want that notation in the dates. What things might I be overlooking?

General ignorance got the better of me again. Though I went over and over the timedate configurations, the fact that I had en_GB for locale instead of en_US just wasn't registering with me.....and since one of my servers seemed to accept en_GB and still offered the am / pm designation made me think that really wasn't the problem. I should have given it a shot anyway just too be sure I tried everything. Ah well, 5 hours later I can say "live and learn". Confused
