This is the message I get when I click on 'contact'. I can't get ride of this, no matter what I try.

$_CONF['emailuserloginrequired'] = 0;

So I should be able to get them, my settings are correct in my preferences:

Email from Users: [check]

Can't figure it out.

Keep in mind that there's also a "Email from Admin" checkbox. Are you an Admin when you try to send an email?

Testing on a local install, everything seems to be working as expected.

Hey Dirk,
I have everything checked in my preferences to allow emails from both users and admins. It doesn't matter if I'm logged in or not, as guest, user or admin, when I click on contact I always get the error message the that user prefers not to get emails.

Looking at it more closely, the 'contact' button is set to userid 2, whereas I'm userid 4. How can I change that? There is no userid 2 or 3.
