error on loading userphoto

When I choose a photo on my profile, it says "Chmod of fiat.gif to 0644 failed" ..


What can I do?

Check that the image has actually been uploaded. Is the userphotos directory writable?

There's also a debug option in config.php that logs the entire upload procedure to error.log, which may help to track down the problem:

i have set it to true but it doesn't write any logs on error.log...
the file seems to be uploaded corretly...

Make sure you've removed the two slashes // in front of that line in config.php. And that your error.log is writable.

But if images are uploading correctly now, you won't need the debug option any more anyway ...

the userimages were uploaded correctly ... but doen't shows in user profile ...
