I was getting a lot of undeliverable email messages from my server and it took me a bit to track it down. It looks like someone is spamming my geeklog site and are using the email story option. The only reason I noticed was that some of the email addresses he was sending too where invalid

I notice this story:

and went with the suggestion of setting emailstoryloginrequired = 1

Just thought I'd let people know to watch out for this type of spam again.

yup, I've been dealing with that crap about a week or two now (again). Nothing I can do really except limit the mail functions to logged in users.

The text that is being sent with the story is already run through Spam-X, btw (in 1.4.0). Does that not help?
