Hi,
I just came to know about this great application that I would like to add to web-site.
I have few questions
1. I would like to have just user registration at my web-site and I do not want stories and comments, etc. that come along with it in the default theme. How do I create a new theme that just contains
username
password
submit
new user
forgot password?
2. My site will allow the registered users the ability to enter some personal info. that will be stored in the MYSQL database. Is geeklog the best application to do these two things? or is it an over-kill? If geeklog indeed is the best application for this, I would appreciate any pointers to documentation that will allow me to do these two things.
Thanks
Ramesh

Hi Ramesh, you need the documentation to edit the config.php http://www.geeklog.net/docs/config.html
You can turn off comments. The "stories" are more or less the pages of your site if you only write 1 story per topic. Alternatively you can use static pages.

Thank you for your reply.
Where can I find information about static pages? I tried created static page and used users.php as form action. The page displayed after successful/unsuccesful login has dynamic content created from default theme. How do I avoid this?
Thanks
Ramesh
