New names that are registered - if these contain spaces is there any problem ?
The system does allow such registration and do not object . Apparently they do not cause any problem.

In Admin "add new user" Gl says do not use spaces. Why ?

The note not to use spaces in usernames has been removed recently.

In other words: Usernames with spaces do not cause any problems.

First of all, please upgrade your site to 1.3.11sr7 ASAP - it's in your own interest.

And yes, usernames with spaces are fine in that version, too.
