I want to add some custom text to display on registration screen when the users register, and I want to tell them to use clean email adresses of they will be treated as spam

which file should I edit?

Search for "custom registration" ...

If you want to edit the text on the new user registration page, and NOT the actual fields a site visitor will fill out, then you don't need to search for "custom registration."

What you need to do is edit the language file of your Geeklog installation (e.g., english.php). Specifically, this section:
