Please help us by providing more information. I haven't heard of any problems and from the story submissions we get here on geeklog.net, it doesn't seem to be a general problem ...

bye, Dirk

Hi Dirk
all I can say is that after hitting the post story button I get the following message

"Unfortunately, an error has occurred rendering this page. Please try again later. "

I can previsualize the story, but posting it causes this message to come out

Hope this gives you a clue. (also, I am using a different layout than the professional, in case this means anything to you)
Thanks

Temporarily(!!!) set $_CONF['rootdebug'] = true; in config.php and try again to see the actual error message.

That's our new error handler in 1.4.1, meant not to give away any details in case of an error.

Hi Dirk
I tried to post a message containing the full text of the error message after setting the rootdebu flag ON
but this system doesn't let me post the message to the forum, thinking that I want to simulate a ROBOT or such
what can I do to show you the error message?
Cheers

I assume it was this post:
Unknown modifier 'v' @ /home/moviments/permacultura-es/public_html/plugins/spamx/BlackList.Examine.class.php line 71

sinergyinaction, you shouldn't include the word "viagra" in your posts

The above looks like an issue with the regular expression handling in Spam-X. Have to look into it ...

You appear to have one or more entries in your personal blacklist that contain a # sign. If you remove those entries, everything should work again.

Looks like we need to do some escaping there ...

Hi Dirk
ok, many thanks it works now. Still I do not understand why the black list doens't "accept" entries with a # sign?
I included a few spammer urls, thinking that this was a correct behaviour.

It's a bug.
