i got to page 2 of the install and got this;-

Unfortunately, an error has occurred rendering this page. Please try again later.

the sql looks like it installed ok,
i have set the whole html bit to 755 ..
Any thoughts ?

As usual, searching for the error message you're getting would be a good idea ...

This is our new error handler in 1.4.1. Try setting $_CONF['rootdebug'] = true; temporarily(!!!) and see if that helps.

It's also possible that it won't help if you've got a syntax error in your config.php or lib-common.php, in which case you will have to disable the error handler temporarily. In that case, use the search for details ...
