Hi
Would appreciate if anyone could advise if anyone has successfully installed the weather block on the current version of geeklog?
From looking at the forum posts the answer is no but would like to double check.
Thanks
Will

Hi Again
I'm guessing thats a no!
Does anyone have any solutions to an alternative to the old weather block?
A Static page with an iFrame to a weather site?
A bit cheesy but anyone have any other ideas?
I have tried the weather block but won't install, when I click install on the plugins page, I get a blank white page. if I load the front page again, it sort of installed but has an error in the block, about unable to find the weather block info.
And on the plugins page still in install status, not installed.
Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Even if you can install it, it keeps breaking every now and then. So forget about it.
I used www.weatherusa.net. Get the small image on a block, link it the a staticpage where you put the big multiday forcast image.
Hope this helps.

Hey Sam
Thanks for the advice, I don't live in the USA but in Australia, but have found a similiar site in Australia.
I will take your advice and see how it looks, much appreciated.

http://www.weather.com/
That is what I'm using in a block for my page. Go to this link: http://www.weather.com/services/oap.html?from=footer
I'm digging it. It is free, but if you want to customize it more to your site, you have to pay. I think it works great as is so far.
