I'd like to restrict access to certain static pages and make them exclusively available for registered users. Anyone else who clicks on the links should get a message saying that they must be registered to view the static page.

Can anyone tell me how I might be able to do this?

Uncheck the Anonymous box at the bottom of every staticpage when you're in edit Mode.

Thanks! but the message that comes back for a nonregistered user is something about how they have restricted permission to access the page.

How can I customize the message that comes back to an unregistered user when he/she tries to access the member's only static page?

Look in the appropriate langauge file for the staticpages plugin
