I'm not really sure how to describe this, but instead of showing at the top of the page, everything goes to the bottom and you have to scroll down to see it. What do I need to do to change this?
All I can do is show you by having you go to my blog and look.

I finally did get it installed but had to have my host set up fantastico to do it.

Looks like you messed up your header.thtml file. It seems to have a closing </table> tag there, but the table is really only supposed to be closed in footer.thtml.

Use a fresh copy of header.thtml and try again.

Now that I've uploaded the new header.thtml I've lost the logo I put in. I probably messed something up when I did it, but I would like my own logo back. I tried searching for editing logo and there wasn't anything about it. I know it has to be put where it will be called in all the other files, but I'm not sure where to do it. Can you help me again? Sorry to be such a bugger.
