For some reason when I went to test the new user registration by entering 'test' in the username and my email address in the email address text field i get an error stating, "You have to enter the same email address in both fields", this is strange since I never see 2 email address text fields. I only see the username text field and the email text field and a register now button. Any idea if I am even getting the right new registration block?

Are you using the custom registration feature or a different theme than Professional? New in GL141 is the requirement that the email address be entered twice for confirmation. Sounds like either the theme is not updated or you need to update your custom registration code.

i'm using the axonz-3.5 theme that was updated for 1.4.0. how do i update the theme or update the custom registration code?

Look at the user/registrationform.thtml file included in the Professional theme, you should see the new line for email_conf, you'll need to duplicate that in your theme's user/registrationform.thtml file.

If you are using a custom registration, then you'll need to duplicate that line in your memberdetail.thtml file located in your themes custom/ directory.
