Hi,

I installed Geeklog on my site just before Christmas & have now got round to setting it all up properly after the festivities (btw, happy new year everyone!) I want to change the file size limit for pictures in stories, I've had a look on this forum & have found out that I have to edit config.php, but which one? There's more than one file with exactly the same name!

Unless otherwise specified, a reference to config.php probably means the core system's config.php. This is the file with all the database and path settings at the top. Plugins will also have config.php files but they will be located in the plugins' directory.

Does that help?

Well, I have the following config.php files for my Geeklog installation:

\cpanel-glprivate
\site\cpanel-glprivate\_vti_cnf
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\links
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\polls
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\spamx
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\staticpages
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\links\vti_cnf
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\polls\vti_cnf
\cpanel-glprivate\plugins\staticpages\vti_cnf
\cpanel-glprivate\system\pear\PEAR
\cpanel-glprivate\system\pear\PEAR\Command
\cpanel-glprivate\system\pear\PEAR\_vti_cnf
\cpanel-glprivate\system\pear\PEAR\Command\_vti_cnf

So I'm guessing that it's the one in the top directory? Sorry to ask but I'm a complete newbie at Geeklog

All those _vti_cnf directories as well as PEAR/Command are not part of the Geeklog distribution - not sure where they are coming from.

So, yes, it's the one in the top level.

bye, Dirk
