I am using GL 1.4.0sr2 with the GL forum plugin 2.5RC1. We're just beginning to use the forum and we've discovered an issue with pre-formatted text not appearing properly. We tried to use the 'pre' tag which appears to be supported in the GL code, but all of the text in the 'pre' tag is double spaced. Some text is pre-formatted and some is not. In the forum preferences, HTML is allowed, GL HTML filtering is on, and the option to conver new lines to BR tags is set to Yes.
With this set up, it allows us to use the code options for bold, italics, etc in the navbar. If we change the option to convert new lines to BR tags to No, the double-spacing goes away, but then none of the text is correct. Switching to text only doesn't seem to help either.
Any assistance anyone can provide would be appreciated! I'm still trying to pick up PHP and GL usage, hopefully I can repay the assistance to someone else.

Using the code tag from what I've tested with puts the text into a box, changing the background, font, etc. It DOES format properly, however. What we're utilizing this for is to write up an outline formatted document. I looked at changing the style.css for the .codeblock format, but I couldn't figure out where the font was being changed. At the same time, there may be a point where we'll utilize that codeblock to show an example of a typed command, etc.
