Help with forum

Hi!
I want to have the ten latest forum posts on my frontpage.
When I go to the frontpage of my geeklog site I want it to display the 10 latest forum posts. Is this possible?

Thanks for any help! Wink

You can change the number of posts to show in the centerblock under the forum->admin->settings

Try this http://www.geeklog.net/filemgmt/visit.php?lid=779 - Geeklog Forum Version 2.6

Compared to updating to 1.4.1 and working out the G2Bridge it installed like a dream.
Using the PhpBB migration tool I found over at 4WiseGuys - http://testbed.4wiseguys.com/filemgmt/visit.php?lid=6 made switching over from PhpBB effortless.
(no documentation for this but very easy - edit the file with your DB details and drop in your Geek log directory and browse to it)

If you are installing your first forum then you'll be up and running in no time.

Did you read the forum's installation instructions? It's really not that hard to install.

You should end up with three directories named "forum" in three different places (right next to, for example, the three "calendar" directories). And at that point, it should show up in the list of plugins (below the list of already installed plugins).

If that didn't help, start here.

bye, Dirk
