ok all, I am in need of some assistance. I am a very novice individual when it comes to programming and I understand geeklog isn't made for novice users, but I know with some guidance I can figure this out. I created a table in the database so that I can have a more effecient method of tracking my affiliates. My initial idea was to create a table with the following fields, qid, date entered, affiliate name, affiliate link, product, expiration, and hits.

Now I need some help implementing this into the site. I wanted to be able to save this and pull up the "affiliate link" text table when calling that specific qid using html. it would be great to have this implemented into the admin section of the site, but if i can get it working and call to it from hand put html code into the articles and such, i will be more than happy....

The questions being:
What code do I have to write to call that specific qid?
When it calls that qid how can I make it so that it it only displays the "affiliate link" table?
How can I ensure that the hits table will keep track of the amount of times the actual ad is clicked vs displayed?

Am I missing anything? This would be a very useful feature for everyone and I think that everyone will beneft from it in many ways if I can get some help in developing this. Maybe it can even be part of a geeklog release in the future, affialiate tracking and management? Any help is greatly appreciated as always.

I really need this, and honestly I'll even make a small donation to anyone that can help me get this done... This is really something that EVERYONE will benefit from if done right, I mean who doesn't want a way to manage all of their affiliates in an easy way?!?!
