Hi
I see how the URL Rewrite plugin can do this
http://www.geeklog.net/article.php/20021022234959146
instead of this
http://www.geeklog.net/article.php?story=20021022234959146
But I want to further customize my setup so that .php stuff doesn't show. Can I further change this example URL into this
http://www.geeklog.net/stories/20021022234959146
or even associate an id with a friendly name, like this
http://www.geeklog.net/stories/my-first-great-geeklog-post
Thanks for your help!

For the rest, you may want to look into using the Apache module mod_rewrite.
So for example, if I was doing it to geeklog.net and I wanted to change pages like this:
http://www.geeklog.net/staticpages/index.php/bounties
Into this:
http://www.geeklog.net/bounties
Then the way to do that is use mod_rewrite, maybe a rule like this:
RewriteRule ^/staticpages/index.php/([A-Za-z0-9-]+)$ /$1
I just wasn't sure if this was a geeklog config thing or if it was something to handle in the server (like mod_rewrite)...
