I searched everywhere for this topic. The only place it was discussed was talking about the old version of GL and there was no definite answer either.

Here is my problem:
GL appends intro text to the body text when the reader clicks on read more.
This means that I must chose the first paragraph of the article to put into the intro text area without messing up the entire article when the reader clicks on read more.

I want to be able to separate intro text and body text in the full article. This way I can place any part of the article into the intro text area.

Is this possible?

There is a feature request already for this. Maybe you should vote for it in this forum topic: what do you want to see implemented?
