Hello, I have istalled GL on a server windows, but I have some problems, the most serious it is that the module "Sign up as a New User" don't work!
From my GL site I can send email, demand one new password through email, but if a new user tries to enroll itself inserting name and password it does not happen null.
why?

If new users don't receive their password email, ask them to check their spam folders.

You could also try switching to using SMTP, which usually makes it less likely that the email is treated as spam. See the FAQ for details.

Hello, the problem is not the post of the email, the email work with SMTP mode. When the new user inserts name and password in the form of "Sign up as a New User" and sendes, the page of the "Sign up as a New User" loads something, but then it returns newly with the two fields empty name and password. If I check the Admin Only > User > not there are new user insert in Db MySQL. :helpme:

Looks like your theme is not up to date - there should be an email confirmation field on the new registration page. See the documentation for the theme changes in 1.4.1.

Yep, some contents on the web site are in part in Italian and in part English. The Calendar is remained in English and the name of months do not come shown.



A new problem!
Now the module " Sign up as a New User" work fine, but when you use it, you have 2 field named and one field no named:

User Name:
E-mail:
no named:


But the right form with the name is:
User Name:
E-mail:
Confirm Email:


where it is the problem?
also I have tried the Professional Layout, but the problem it is the same one on the web site online.
On my local Mac work with the right name.

Are you using the language files that shipped with 1.4.1? Even those where the translation hasn't been updated (e.g. Italian) will at least contain the new text strings in English.

The language file maybe?

When I posted above about updating the language file I meant the missing phrases
Next time I'll try to be more specific
