file management for GL 1.4.1?

Anonymous
Hi!
I've just installed the version 1.4.1 of GL. After this I downloaded two plugins for file management (easyfile and file management plugin 1.2) but I wasn't able to install one of them. Both seem were tested with elder GL versions (1.3.*)...
Is there any other plugin for file management working with GL 1.4.1?
THX!

Those old versions should still work, actually. Just make sure you have register_globals=on
Alternatively, get the current version of the file management plugin (which we're also using here on geeklog.net) from portalparts.com.

works now! thank you very much!
but a hopyfully not too stupid question: entering the GL I can go to the filemgmt admin and I can upload files.... but the only way to the file overview is the forwarding after uploading a file.
Isn't there any link added to go there directly?

You should have a link to the File Management's admin screen in your Admins Only block. And for normal users wanting to download something, there's a link in the site's menu (like on geeklog.net -> Downloads).
