Hello all
I imagine this will be a fairly quick one. When someone (a registered user) posts a new event to the calendar, I would like this person's name to show up as a link in the detailed event listing and, when clicking on the link, this would take the visitor to a "profiles.php?uid=X" page from which an email can be sent to the event author.
I seem to remember a previous version of GL offering this. Am I imagining that?!
Further, is it possible to ONLY ALLOW registered users to send messages using the above form/page and post events?
Many, many, many thanks.

Unfortunately, the Calendar plugin still doesn't store the original submitter's uid. The owner of an event therefore becomes the person approving the event. And event that information doesn't seem to be available as a template variable.
As for preventing anyomous submissions, see the Calendar plugin's config.php file:
$_CA_CONF['eventsubmission'] = 1;
bye, Dirk

Text Formatted Code
// enable (set to 1) or disable (set to 0) submission queues:$_CA_CONF['eventsubmission'] = 1;

Thanks very much, Dirk. Thanks for taking the time.
How difficult do you think it would be to store the original submitter's UID in the event OR, what might be a little easier, would it be possible to populate a new field on the calendar event submission form with the username of the person logged in?
Thanks again!
