The weather plugin seems abit scary it require you to alter user pref table I don't want to do this so I tried installing weather version 1.01 but it fails to install ?? I don't want to use version 2 which is totally non standard version 1 looks very standard, has anyone tried using the original version ??

Just guessing: register_globals = off?

But obviously the Weather plugin isn't really usable with a modern Geeklog install any more. Aren't there weather sites out there that let you display the local weather on your own homepage? wetter.com (in German only) is such a site that I used once - surely there are others like that?

Should be less hassle than struggling with an outdated plugin. :twocents:
