1. How can I stop the "New Password" field from automatically being filled with the users password? This can be annoying when the user wants to edit something like their Signature or Bio, because it results in an error message telling the user they need to enter their password.

2. When changing passwords, how can I stop the pop-up that asks the user to confirm the account name that is being modified?

For the first question, read this. Maybe, your in the same situation.

#2 also sounds like a browser issue. Geeklog doesn't display any popups there.

Hhmmm... #2 only seems to occur when being logged in as an administrator.
