I upgraded to the newest version of geeklog and now when someone registers the email is not sent out to the user. I know that I replaced all of the "professional" theme files with the previous install I was running.

Could this have caused the problem with registration problem?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

ok, the theme seemed to have been the issue all along... i have another question, is there a table in the database that "holds" user information till they have signed in with password given?

the problem i'm having now is that people who registered while i was down are trying to re-register and the username can not be used, but yet i can't find it in the DB...

You should see these users if you go to "Users" (from the Admin's block). Users that have never logged in are marked as such in the Last Login Date columne ("never", followed by the registration date).

They should also be able to request a new password by following the "forgot password" link from the login box.

Unfortunately no luck. It can't be but a small number of people so this I can live with.

If those people don't show up in your Users list, then they have no account on the site. Simple as that.
