I’m no expert, but I’d say you need to put your IMG tag somewhere after the first closing table tag in the “header.thtml†file in the professional theme directory, or move the {site url} and {site logo} tags to another area. If you move the default site tags and change the image, make sure to change the height and width of the pixels in the current tag.
I hope this helps.

Well I managed it but I think I need to replace this function header-logobg-container-inner as my phpbb does not show the header block now properly so do you know where to change this function ?
<div class="header-logobg-container-outer">
<!--<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="header-logobg-container-inner">--!>
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" <img src="tibet.jpg" width="100%" height="118">
<tr>
<!--<td class="header-logobg" width="50%" height="78" style="text-align:left;vertical-align:middle;">
<a href="{site_url}/"><img src="{site_logo}" width="151" height="56" alt="{site_name}" border="0"></a>
</td>
<td class="header-logobg" width="50%" height="78" style="text-align:right;vertical-align:middle;">
<span class="site-slogan">{site_slogan}</span>
</td>--!>
</tr>
</table>
{menu_elements}
Text Formatted Code
<td width="100%"><div class="header-logobg-container-outer">
<!--<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="header-logobg-container-inner">--!>
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" <img src="tibet.jpg" width="100%" height="118">
<tr>
<!--<td class="header-logobg" width="50%" height="78" style="text-align:left;vertical-align:middle;">
<a href="{site_url}/"><img src="{site_logo}" width="151" height="56" alt="{site_name}" border="0"></a>
</td>
<td class="header-logobg" width="50%" height="78" style="text-align:right;vertical-align:middle;">
<span class="site-slogan">{site_slogan}</span>
</td>--!>
</tr>
</table>

background:url(images/tibet.jpg);
width:100%;
height:118px;
border-bottom:1px solid #CCCCCC;
Text Formatted Code
.header-logobg-container-inner {background:url(images/tibet.jpg);
width:100%;
