I'm converting an old sites story archive, and need to date back articles as late is 1980. When creating a story the latest date you're able to publish under is 2006 (as of version 1.4.1). Where is it possible to add more years to the drop down list in order to back date the stories?

public_html/Lib-common.php Look for COM_getYearFormOptions.

Change:
for( $i = $start_year - 1; $i <= $cur_year + 5; $i++ )

To
for( $i = 1980; $i <= $cur_year + 5; $i++ )

Or whatever you need.
